Alfa Romeo recognises that companies of all sizes find themselves needing to purchase and manage vehicles as part of their business activity. Finding the most appropriate funding method is a complex and time consuming process which demands a degree of specialist knowledge. Alfa Romeo Contract Hire helps to keep the process as simple as possible.

How does it work?
Contract Hire is the leasing of a vehicle, normally to a vat registered business or company, for a set time and mileage at a fixed monthly rental. The monthly rental is determined by the cost of the vehicle, the period and mileage covered as well as the resultant depreciation. Maintenance packages are often included within Contract Hire agreements, but are not obligatory.

The key features are:

• Low initial outlay – normally 3 months advance rental.
• Competitive rentals due to our buying power.
• Fixed monthly rentals for the full contract period based on a set annual mileage.
• Contract periods of 2 to 5 years.
• Road Fund Licence included throughout lease period.
• Roadside assistance provided by the AA (including European cover) for the duration of the contract.

At the end of the contract, provided the terms of the agreement are fulfilled, the vehicle will be collected by Fiat Auto Contracts, with no further invoices to your selves.

NOTE: Additional charges may result if the vehicle is returned with damage, missing service history, or any missing items.

Additional benefits:

• Fixed budget payments.
• No disposal worries or depreciation risk.
• This form of funding is "off balance sheet" – improving your gearing ratio (the return on assets employed within your business).
• Rentals can be offset against taxable profits for maximum tax efficiency.

If you select the maintenance option the additional benefits are:

• No unexpected service or maintenance costs (subject to fair wear & tear).
• Unlimited tyre, battery and exhaust replacement when required – subject to fair wear and tear.
• Replacement vehicle option is available upon request for an additional monthly charge. This provides a relief vehicle in the event of your vehicle being off the road due to accident or mechanical reasons.
